It's Been a Great Ride...
Today marks the end of an era. Pat Day, the winningest jockey in racing history, is retiring after 32 years. Amazingly, his only Kentucky Derby win was on Lil E. Tee back in 1992. What makes this story great is the next chapter in Pat Day's life. He'll be moving on to ministering to youth and working with the Racetrack Chaplaincy of America program. Among the world of racing there has been no man that stood so tall for the gospel than Pat Day. Godspeed, Pat - may the rest of your ride be even more glorious.
